JUSTINE CEDERBERG
Justine, the founder and proprietor of PRASAD @prasad_nordic_ayurveda , is an Ayurvedic consultant and Herbalist. Born in Canada, she now lives in Porvoo, Finland. Her passion for the botanical realm stems from her time living and working on a farm, where she developed a practical and ever-deepening relationship with plants and herbs. Her knowledge of plants encompass both the traditional European herbal, Native American and Ayurvedic tradition.
Justine has studied Ayurveda and Yoga extensively in U.S.A. and Finland. Her teachers include Western and Indian doctors and practitioners, Dr. Partap Chauhan, Dr.Arun Gupta, Dr.Bhawna Sharma, Richard Haynes, Gianna Piccardo, Sajah Popham and Sarah Joy Marsh.
Justine’s Ayurvedic offerings focus on "Ayurveda for Nordic Lifestyle", taking into account the Finnish climate and Western traditional medicine. Justine teaches at the Ayurvedic Institute of Finland and offers consultations and classes in Porvoo and Helsinki.

HOW THE DETOX WORKS:
Justine will provide handmade ghee infused with organic ayurvedic herbs and instruct how to use for a 6 day detox. The 6 day detox is chosen to suit your schedule. PRASAD Ayurveda Detox is an excellent option for those that want to experience a mini panchakarma (body cleansing) at home or who are unable to participate in a full panchakarma program. Virechana (therapeutic purgation) is included in the process. During this six day detox, PRASAD herbal ghee is eaten daily to help pull fat soluble toxins out of the cells and triggers fat metabolism, a process where the body starts to burn its own fat for fuel. Fat soluble toxins are more difficult to remove than water soluble toxins, as water soluble toxins are generally flushed out with urine. Therefore this detox is more effective than a juice detox. Rejuvenative herbs are infused with ghee in order to quickly and evenly deliver herbal healing deep into the body’s lipid-based cell walls. In Ayurveda, ghee is used as a delivery vehicle for herbs and the infusion is also delivered into the seven tissue layers of the body where the toxins are hard.
