Copper Cup
Copper cup for energising & vitalising water
The use of metals has long been known to the Ayurvedic tradition – and for centuries yogis have been drinking water from copper vessels. In Ayurveda, copper in particular is attributed an extraordinary significance.
Copper is one of many vital trace elements that our bodies need in order to maintain a healthy immune system, to fight infections, to repair injured tissues and promote healing. Because copper has natural antimicrobial and antioxidant qualities, using pure copper drinking cups or bottles is highly valued in Ayurvedic philosophy as it is said the water purifies the whole body. Copper also vitalises, energies and ionises the water.
Fill your copper cup with water in the evening, leave it overnight and drink the vitalised water the next morning. From an Ayurvedic perspective, the water has taken on the vibrations of the copper and absorbed tiny amounts of the pure copper.

Care instructions:
The copper cup is not suitable for the dishwasher. Clean the cup regularly and thoroughly (see cleaning recommendations on the product label). If the copper mug gets a little oxidised and dark, you can easily polish it to shine again with a little bit of lemon juice.
The copper cup is handmade in India, which makes each cup unique. Small scratches on the inside or outside are quite normal and do not affect the functionality.
